As annouced Xiaomi a.k.a ‘Apple of China’ finally released MI4 in their MI range of phones. Mi4 is a successor to their Flagship mobile MI3.
Xiaomi has again proved that features don’t always need to carry high price tag, they launched it at a price of 1999 CNY, equivalent to $320 or 240 EUR or Rs. 19,500.
It comes out to be a slim phone with dimensions of 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9 mm. The screen size has no change as compared to MI3, it is still 5′ inches having a resolution of 1920×1080, 441 ppi. The processor used is Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5 Ghz Quadcore along with adreno 330 gpu. The Ram has increased to 3gb which is nowdays common amongst high end phones offered by competitors. Storage is optional between 16/64 GB variant. The battery fitted is 3000 mAh. it comes in many variants 4g, 3g (GSM/CDMA).
The Rear Camera is 13 MP with a SOny Exmor Sensor with f 1.8 with a recording capability of upto 4k. and the front camera is 5 MP. The phone also has an infrared Emitter to control devices like TV, AC, DVR etc. Xiaomi has put MIUI v5 in it with Android Kitkat.
As of now the phones seems to be a terror to the competitors. Antutu scores and other benchmarks would be discussed in my next post, once I get hands on this phone.
Its been 6 months since I have been using this app for locking my personal stuff on my Android Mobile.
This app works like a miracle, it has almost every feature which a person can think of for security point of view.
1. Locks apps using password, gesture, pattern, pin.
2. Intruder prevention by secretly clicking a pic using front camera.
3. Area wise lock using WiFi.
4. Voice alert during wrong attempts
5. Grid pattern using user defined grids.
FAKE app force close function.
This app has taken grip in the market and is considered to be having very high user retention ratio.
I would surely recommend this to all.
